Hadith 13322

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْأَنْصَارِ : " أَفِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا : ابْنُ أُخْتٍ لَنَا ، قَالَ : ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ ، أَوْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the Ansar, "Is there anyone among you besides yourselves?" They replied, "We have a nephew." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A people's nephew is counted among them."
