(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَهُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ صَحَابَتِهِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيْ فُلَانُ ، هَلْ تَزَوَّجْتَ ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، وَلَيْسَ عِنْدِي مَا أَتَزَوَّجُ بِهِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ سورة الإخلاص آية 1 ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبْعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ قُلْ يَأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبْعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتْ الْأَرْضُ ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبْعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبْعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ اللَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ سورة البقرة آية 255 ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبْعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : تَزَوَّجْ ، تَزَوَّجْ ، تَزَوَّجْ " ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked one of his companions (may Allah be pleased with him): "Have you gotten married?" He replied, "No, I do not have anything because of which I could get married." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Do you not have 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad'?" He replied, "Why not." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is a quarter of the Qur'an." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Do you not have Surah Zalzalah?" He replied, "Why not." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is a quarter of the Qur'an." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Do you not have Ayat al-Kursi?" He replied, "Why not." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is a quarter of the Qur'an." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times, then said, "Then get married."
