Hadith 13288

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, a disbeliever will be brought and it will be said to him, "Tell me, if you had gold equal to the entire earth, would you give it all as ransom for yourself?" He will say, "Yes!" Allah will say, "I had asked you for something lighter than this in the world." This is the meaning of the Divine statement: "Indeed, those who disbelieved and died while they were disbelievers, none among them will be accepted, even if he offered the earth full of gold as ransom."
