Hadith 1325

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ ، أخبرنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَقُومَ عَلَى بُدْنِهِ ، وَأَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ بِلُحُومِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَأَجِلَّتِهَا ، وَأَنْ لَا أُعْطِيَ الْجَازِرَ مِنْهَا ، قَالَ : " نَحْنُ نُعْطِيهِ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to stay with him at the time of sacrifice, and to distribute the skins and coverings of those camels, as well as the meat, and also ordered that nothing from them should be given to the butcher as wages, and said that we used to give him his wages from our own side.
