(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ
قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ
أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ ، فَلَا يَتْفُلْ أَمَامَهُ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ ، وَلْيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you is praying, he is conversing with his Lord, so in this state none of you should spit to his right side, but rather spit to his left side or under his foot.
