Hadith 13204

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill with his final illness, he did not come out for three days. Once, the prayer was established and Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) stepped forward to lead the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted the curtain of his house. We had never seen such a sight as the radiant face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) shining like an open page. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) signaled to Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to move forward and complete the prayer, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) let the curtain fall. After that, until his passing, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was not able to come for the prayer.
