Hadith 13086

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ ناسٍ قَالَ : " أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمْ الصَّائِمُونَ ، وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمْ الْأَبْرَارُ ، وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would break his fast at someone's place, he would say: "The fasting people have broken their fast with you, the righteous have eaten your food, and the angels of mercy have descended upon you."
