Hadith 13077

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to come to us and joke with my younger brother. One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him sad and said, "What is the matter, Abu Umair! You look sad?" The family members informed that his bird, with which he used to play, had died. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Abu Umair! What happened to the Nughair?" (the bird that had died)
