Hadith 13060

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَخَرَجَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَعَرَضَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ ، فَحَبَسَهُ حَتَّى كَادَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ أَنْ يَنْعَسَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the time for prayer arrived, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was conversing in private with a man in the mosque. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up for prayer, the people had fallen asleep.
