(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا
إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ
نُفَيْعٍ ، عَنْ
أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ ، غَنِيٍّ وَلَا فَقِيرٍ ، إِلَّا يَوَدُّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ أُوتِيَ فِي الدُّنْيَا قُوتًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, every poor and wealthy person will wish that he had been given only as much in the world as was sufficient for his needs.
