Hadith 12708

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نُفَيْعٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يقول : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي أَمْشَاهُمْ عَلَى أَرْجُلِهِمْ ، قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُمْشِيَهُمْ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! How will people be raised on their faces?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The One who has the power to make them walk on their feet is also able to make them walk on their faces."
