(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ مُضَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ أَبُو مَسْلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ : بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ سورة الفاتحة آية 1 أَوْ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 2 فَقَالَ : إِنَّكَ لَتَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا أَحْفَظُهُ ، أَوْ مَا سَأَلَنِي أَحَدٌ قَبْلَكَ " .
Abu Muslima (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to begin the recitation with Bismillah or with Alhamdulillah? He replied, "You have asked me a question about which I do not remember anything at the moment."
