Hadith 12694

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once some companions (may Allah be pleased with them) searched for water for ablution but could not find it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked them, "Is there a little water here?" I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand in that vessel and said, "Perform ablution in the name of Allah." I saw that water was gushing out from between the fingers of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and people began to perform ablution with it until all had performed ablution. Thabit asked Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "How many people were you at that time?" He replied, "About seventy."
