(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أخبرنا
سُفْيَانُ ،
عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ
أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَعْمَالَكُمْ تُعْرَضُ عَلَى أَقَارِبِكُمْ وَعَشَائِرِكُمْ مِنَ الْأَمْوَاتِ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ خَيْرًا ، اسْتَبْشَرُوا بِهِ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ ، قَالُوا : اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُمِتْهُمْ حَتَّى تَهْدِيَهُمْ كَمَا هَدَيْتَنَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your deeds are also presented before your deceased close relatives and family members. If the deeds are good, they become happy; if otherwise, they say: O Allah! Do not give them death until You guide them, just as You have granted us guidance.
