It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the night of Mi'raj, a Buraq with saddle and bridle fastened was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so that he (peace be upon him) might ride it. But it suddenly started to shy away. Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) said to it, "What are you doing? By Allah! No one more honorable than him has ever ridden you." Upon this, it was overcome with shame.
