(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ لِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ : إِنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَؤُمُّ الْقَوْمَ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ لِلْقُرْآنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who should lead the people in prayer is the one among them who recites the Qur'an the most.
