(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : " لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ ، لَعِبَتْ الْحَبَشَةُ لِقُدُومِهِ بِحِرَابِهِمْ ، فَرَحًا بِذَلِكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that, in happiness at the arrival of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah Munawwarah, the Abyssinians displayed feats with spears.
