Hadith 12638

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ لَنَا ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : " نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَزْهُوَ ، وَالْحَبِّ حَتَّى يُفْرَكَ ، وَعَنِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى تُطْعِمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of dates before they form clusters, grains before they are husked, and fruits before they ripen.
