Hadith 12604

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : " إِنَّكُمْ لَتَعْمَلُونَ أَعْمَالًا هِيَ أَدَقُّ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ مِنَ الشَّعْرِ ، إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَعُدُّهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمُوبِقَاتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that you people commit such deeds which, in your eyes, are of less value than a hair, but we used to consider them, during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), among the destructive things.
