It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to have his head shaved (on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage), Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) took some hair from one part of his head in his hands. Then those hairs were taken by Umm Sulaym, and she used to mix them in her perfume and shake them.
