Hadith 12466

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ الْعَطَّارَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " ذَبَحَ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ بِيَدِهِ ، وَكَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَيْهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtering the sacrificial animal with his own hand and reciting Takbeer over it.
