Hadith 12461

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ ، لَا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَوْ آخِرُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of my Ummah is like that of rain; it is not known whether its beginning is better or its end." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
