Hadith 12451

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونٌ الْمَرَئِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ سِيَاهٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ الْتَقَيَا ، فَأَخَذَ أَحَدُهُمَا بِيَدِ صَاحِبِهِ ، إِلَّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يَحْضُرَ دُعَاءَهُمَا ، وَلَا يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمَا حَتَّى يَغْفِرَ لَهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When two Muslims meet and one of them holds the hands of the other, it is incumbent upon Allah to be present at the time of their supplication, and before their hands are separated, He forgives them both.
