Hadith 12429

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ الْأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ، يقول : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُمْطَرَ النَّاسُ مَطَرًا عَامًّا ، وَلَا تَنْبُتَ الْأَرْضُ شَيْئًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Hour will not be established until there is abundant rainfall, but the earth will produce no vegetation at all.
