It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to be pleased with good dreams and would sometimes ask, "Has any of you seen a dream?" If someone had seen a dream, he would ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for its interpretation. If there was nothing distressing in it, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would also be pleased with that. In this context, a woman came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I saw in a dream as if I entered Paradise. There I heard a voice that made Paradise tremble. Suddenly, I saw that so-and-so son of so-and-so and so-and-so son of so-and-so were being brought in." While saying this, she counted the names of twelve men whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had previously sent on an expedition. The woman stated that when they were brought there, the clothes on their bodies had turned black and their veins were swollen. Someone said to them, "Take these people to the river Sadkh or the river Bidakh." So they were immersed in it, and when they came out, their faces were shining like the full moon of the fourteenth night. Then golden chairs were brought, and they sat on them. Then a tray was brought in which there were fresh dates. They began to eat those dates, and whenever they turned a date over, they would find fruit to eat as they wished, and I also kept eating with them. After some time, a man from that army came with the good news of victory and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Such and such happened with us, and so-and-so and so-and-so were martyred." While saying this, he counted the same twelve men whose names the woman had mentioned. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Call that woman to me again." When she came, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her, "Describe your dream in front of this man." She described it, and he said, "It happened exactly as she has described to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
