Hadith 12334

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ " ، وَبَسَطَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةَ ، وَالْوُسْطَى .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I and the Hour have been sent like these two fingers together." Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards his index finger and middle finger.
