Hadith 12327

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْأَشْيَبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ مَثَلَ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ ، لَا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَوْ آخِرُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of my Ummah is like that of rain; it is not known whether its beginning is better or its end."
