Hadith 12322

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ، يقول : حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ " ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ، يَقُولُ فِي قِصَصِهِ : كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى ، فَلَا أَدْرِي ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَمْ قَالَهُ قَتَادَةُ ! .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I and the Hour (Day of Judgment) have been sent like these two fingers together. (Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards his index finger and middle finger.)
