Hadith 12314

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَرَجُلٌ يُنَاجِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَمَا زَالَ يُنَاجِيهِ حَتَّى نَامَ أَصْحَابُهُ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the time for prayer arrived, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was conversing in private with a man in the mosque, until the people fell asleep, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led his companions in prayer.
