(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : عَفَّانُ أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يقول : جَاءَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : مَعَهَا ابْنٌ لَهَا ، فَقَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : فَخَلَا بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ : وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَأَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ " ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari woman (along with her child) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her in private: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, you people are the most beloved to me among all people." He said this sentence three times.
