It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade people from moving ahead in bowing, prostration, standing, sitting, and at the end, and said: "I see you from in front of me as well as from behind me. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), if you had seen what I have seen, you would laugh little and weep much." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! What have you seen?" He replied, "I have seen Paradise and Hell with my own eyes." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also encouraged them towards prayer.
