Hadith 12267

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) sent some dates placed in a dish to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took a handful from it and sent it to one of his noble wives, then took another handful and sent it to another noble wife, then whatever remained, he sat and ate in such a manner as a person eats who has a desire for food and whose desire for eating is apparent from his eating.
