Hadith 12235

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held a sword and said, "Who will take this sword?" Some people came forward to take it and look at it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Who will take it to fulfill its right?" Upon hearing this, the people stepped back. Hazrat Abu Dujana (may Allah be pleased with him), whose name was Simak, said, "I will take it to fulfill its right." So he took it and began to strike the heads of the polytheists.
