Hadith 12154

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ التَّيْمِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ مُتَعَمِّدًا ، قَالَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, he should make his abode in Hell. He said this twice.
