(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخَيْبَرَ ، فَقَالَ : أُكِلَتِ الْحُمُرُ ، مَرَّتَيْنِ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ جَاءَ ، فَقَالَ : أُفْنِيَتِ الْحُمُرُ ، قَالَ : فَنَادَى إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " يَنْهَيَانِكُمْ عَنْ لَحْمِ الْحُمُرِ ، فَإِنَّهَا رِجْسٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at Khaybar and said twice that the meat of donkeys is being eaten. Then he came again and said that the donkeys have finished. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made an announcement that Allah and His Messenger forbid you from the meat of donkeys because their meat is impure.
