It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was never as grieved by any army as he was by the army of Bir Ma'unah. The people of that army became known as "Qurra" and it was about them that this verse was revealed: Convey this message from us to our people that we are pleased with our Lord and He has made us happy.
