Hadith 12085

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called the Ansar so that he could distribute among them the wealth that had come from Bahrain. But they said, "First, set aside an equal share for our Muhajir brothers." Seeing their spirit of selflessness, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "After me, you will face preferential treatment, but you should remain patient until you meet me."
