Hadith 12077

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah Munawwarah, I was ten years old, and when he departed from this world, I was twenty years old. My mother used to encourage me to serve the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to our house. We milked a domesticated goat and mixed the milk with water from the house well, then presented it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). On the right side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was a Bedouin, and on the left side was Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him). Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was also in a corner. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had drunk from it, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) requested that it be given to Abu Bakr, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the vessel of milk to the Bedouin and said, "First to the one on the right, then to the next after him."
