Hadith 12076

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا وُضِعَ الْعَشَاءُ وَأُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the night meal is brought before you and the prayer is established, then eat the food first.
