Hadith 12072

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the last glance I cast upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was on Monday. It was such that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, lifted the curtain of his blessed chamber, and at that time the people were performing prayer behind Hazrat Siddiq Akbar, may Allah be pleased with him, who was leading them. I saw the blessed face of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it appeared as if it were an open page of the Qur'an. The people intended to move from their places, but the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, signaled them to remain in their places, and then he let the curtain fall. And on that very day, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, departed from this world.
