It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) was standing in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shooting arrows. Sometimes, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would raise his head from behind to see the shower of arrows, so Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) would shield his chest to protect the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and would say, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! My chest is before your chest."
