Hadith 12018

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was going somewhere with some of his companions (may Allah be pleased with them). On the way, there was a child lying on the ground. When his mother saw the people, she feared that the child might be trampled under their feet, so she ran, crying out, "My son, my son," and picked him up. The people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! This woman can never throw her son into the fire." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) silenced them and said, "Allah will also never throw His friend into the fire."
