(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ , أَخْبَرَنَا
الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ
أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَتْ دِرْعُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرْهُونَةً ، مَا وَجَدَ مَا يَفْتَكُّهَا حَتَّى مَاتَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the armor of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was held as collateral, and there was not enough money to redeem it, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from this world in that state.
