Hadith 119

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَبَإٍ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَزَنِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُغِيثٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : " قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) decreed that the owner of the mount has the right to sit on the front seat of the mount.
