Hadith 11895

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ " رَأَى الطِّينَ فِي أَنْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَرْنَبَتِهِ ، مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ ، وَكَانُوا مُطِرُوا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw that there were marks of mud on the nose and forehead of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because it had rained during the night.
