(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ , حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ ، قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ : ابْنُ عُتْبَةَ مَوْلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنْ عَذْرَاءَ فِي خِدْرِهَا ، وَكَانَ إِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا عَرَفْنَاهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was more modest than a virgin girl in her veil, and when something displeased him, we would recognize it from his blessed face.
