It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), my brother has diarrhea." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Go and give him honey to drink." He went and then came back and said, "I have given him honey to drink, but his illness has increased." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Go and give him honey to drink." He went and then came back and said, "I have given him honey to drink, but his illness has increased." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Go and give him honey to drink." He went and then came back and said, "I have given him honey to drink, but his illness has increased." For the fourth time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Go and give him honey to drink." This time, he was cured. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Allah has spoken the truth, your brother's stomach has lied."
