(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : جَلَسْتُ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ : " أَنَّهُ يَبْلُغُ الْعَرَقُ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا : إِلَى شَحْمَتِهِ ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : يُلْجِمُهُ ، فَخَطَّ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، وَأَشَارَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ بِإِصْبَعِهِ مِنْ أَسْفَلِ شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ إِلَى فِيهِ ، فَقَالَ : مَا أَرَى ذَاكَ إِلَّا سَوَاءً .
Saeed bin Umair Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that once I was sitting with Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), one of them said to the other that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that on the Day of Resurrection people will sweat profusely, one of them said, "up to the earlobes," and the other said, "the sweat will be like a bridle in his mouth." Then Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) drew a line from beneath the earlobe to the mouth and said, I consider this part to be equal.
