Hadith 11853

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنِي مَنْ لَقِيَ الْوَفْدَ الَّذِينَ قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ ، فِيهِمْ الْأَشَجُّ ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّا حَيٌّ مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ ، وَبَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ كُفَّارُ مُضَرَ ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ : " إِنَّ فِيكَ خَلَّتَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the use of dubba, naqir, and muzaffat, and said: Prepare nabidh in your waterskin and keep its mouth closed. It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the delegation of Banu Abdul Qais came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), they said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! We have come to you from a distant place, and between us and you is the tribe of the disbelievers of Mudar..." Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith.
