(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي شَهْرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ فِي غُنَيْمَةٍ لَهُ ، يَهُشُّ عَلَيْهَا فِي بَيْداءِ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، إِذْ عَدَا عَلَيْهِ ذِئْبٌ ، فَانْتَزَعَ شَاةً مِنْ غَنَمِهِ ، فَجَهْجَأَهُ الرَّجُلُ ، فَرَمَاهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ ، حَتَّى اسْتَنْقَذَ مِنْهُ شَاتَهُ ، ثُمَّ إِنَّ الذِّئْبَ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى أَقْعَى مُسْتَذْفِرًا بِذَنَبِهِ مُقَابِلَ الرَّجُلِ ، فَذَكَرَهُ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ .
(Marfu’ Hadith) Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, Shahr narrated to me, he said: Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri narrated, he said: "While a man from Aslam was with his small flock, tending them in the plain of Dhu al-Hulayfa, suddenly a wolf attacked him and snatched a sheep from his flock. The man shouted at it and threw stones at it until he rescued his sheep from it. Then the wolf came and sat on its haunches, tucking its tail, facing the man, and he mentioned it similar to the narration of Shu‘ayb ibn Abi Hamza."
